Fantastic Computer Chips:

When you will came to know that after a number of experiments IBM developed entirely a new kind of computer chips which will feel, think and react like a human brain, you will be surprised. This chip will be used in cognitive computers. The newly developed computer chip which is named “neurosynaptic computer chip” will make the duplicate the functions and activities of brain, which will bad to movements, activities, actions and cognition. They will function on double track, that they will learn and as well as improve themselves through experiments. Do not think that they are simple and may not do anything by them self, they will be able to give performance other than those programs fed into them. They are like babies who learn, adopt and grow rapidly.

The scientists who are experimenting in IBM center have completed the 1st phase of this project that has heavy implications in defense. A US government agency is providing fund for this project which is of military nature.

Air Ships As Big As Cricket Ground:

It will be interesting to learn that US army has funded to build huge air ships which will be as big and spreading like cricket ground.

These air ships will be used in the war trouble areas. These will be design in this pattern that they will be lighter than the usual planes, because they have not fixed wings. These air ships will be consist of special propellers. The air ships may be lifted in the air by a lighter gas.

Amazing Tank:

A new kind of material has been developed which is named “Metamaterials”. This material can bend light around them, which cause object made of this material to become disappeared from other eyes.

It is a big advantage that if a tank or any armored vehicle may camouflage itself from the surrounding. The invisibility gives protection against the enemy. The amazing tank will mix itself with the surrounding.

The researchers are using a high technology which covers the tank with hexagonal sheet of material. These hexagons function as pixels which change the temperature and also displays infrared images which produced by a camera which is installed outside. The camera records the landscape of the surrounding, and displays it on the hexagonal sheets of strong material to protect against invaders. In this way the tank seems to be a tree or a plant!

Interesting thing is this that computer is also installed on the outer surface of the tank and it has a large number of images and the required time it projects the relevant images on the sheets, like rocks, herd of animals and etc. The researchers are trying to use this technology on aircrafts, helicopters and ships.

Floating City:

You have seen in a let of movies the under water world, in which people live under the sea. Now in the real world, a Dutch company is designing a floating city, consist of a large number of houses. The foundation of the house will be built on the layers of light plastic foam, which will support the concrete and make it to float on surface of water.

Robots are machines that help machines do their work. Robots sense through vision, sound, and the behavior of the man being, and participate in decision making. But they can do all those things only if a human being programs them to do so. They cannot sense or make judgment in a non-programmed situation. And they must be connected to some kind of power source.

This was the first generation robot, in the second generation scientists design it for hospitals, so that they may help doctors and surgeons. Recently in Moscow the surgeons took it to the operation room, where a master robot operated a patient and bring out a stone from his liver.

The robot did not use his knife and cut the defected parts of the body, but only made two holes in the stomach. From these holes it sucked out the stone. This master robot was perfectly programmed and was able to move all around it (at 360 degrees). The patient who was operated recovered rapidly, and walk to and fro in the hospital corridor the second day. Astonishingly he was in no need of medicines the third day.

The head of the surgery department Dr. Andaray Fatanove told the news paper reporters that the operation with the help of a robot is a successful experiment. Surely in future we will take his help in complicated surgeries. This revolutionary step will make a big turn in the history of surgery, where   patients will recover in no time.

The time rolled on and the scientist and researchers made a robot for the third generation. This robot is kind, jolly, and hospitable.
